Long-horizon capital
for operator-built companies.

CA Capital Ventures is a private holding company building and backing durable businesses across outdoor, software, and real assets — the kind that compound when you own them long enough to find out.

Philosophy

We invest the way we'd want capital invested in us.

Our approach starts from a simple bias: most great companies are built slowly, by people who care more about the work than the outcome. We build and back the operators who fit that profile.

Some ventures we wholly own and operate. Others, we back with capital and a sounding board. In every case, we sit on the same side of the table as the team — long horizon, founder-aligned, and patient enough to let the thesis play out.

Compounding is not a strategy. It's a consequence of doing fewer things, longer.

Focus areas

Where we put capital and time.

Concentrated across four mandates we know intimately. We pass on nearly everything outside of them.

01

Outdoor & Lifestyle

Brands and platforms serving the way people actually live outside — from overland to backcountry to everyday utility.

02

Software & AI

Tooling for operators, infrastructure for autonomous systems, and consumer software that earns its place on the home screen.

03

Real Assets

Land, warehouses, and operating businesses where capital, patience, and a hands-on eye compound over decades.

04

Specialty Services

Cash-flowing service businesses with operational leverage — aerial, logistics, and distribution adjacencies.

Operating principles

Four lines we don't cross.

01

Operator first.

Every venture is run by the people closest to the work. Capital follows the operator, not the other way around.

02

Long horizon.

We hold to compound, not to flip. The portfolio is built around businesses we'd want to own for a decade.

03

Concentrated bets.

Fewer, deeper positions. We'd rather be early and right in six things than diluted across sixty.

04

Built, not assembled.

We invest behind teams shipping the product, signing the leases, and answering the calls — not behind decks.
